Rikkers Double Bass Pickup<\/h2>\n

We have been successful for years with the one and only Rikkers Contrabass Pickup. We manufacture our pickups using a special process in which the piezo film is bonded to a combination of wood and glue. The pickup is then treated to become very hard, after which it can be glued to the bridge. This bonding is not permanent; it can be easily removed. The bonding ensures the most direct contact between the double bass and the pickup. This produces a very strong, powerful, and direct sound. <\/p>\n

We have various handmade basses in stock in large and small sizes. A fine example is a Romanian double bass from the Bucur workshop. But we also have beautiful basses from the Czech Republic and several fine hand-built basses by Chinese master builders. <\/p>\n
