Lignator Models – Good Tools
In 2022, we launched a new line of modern, progressive instruments: Lignator Guitars. The line comprises three remarkable models, designed with the contemporary metal guitarist in mind. The names of these models are Latin translations of the tools we use: the knife, the chisel, and the axe. The tools in our workshop are our tools for making instruments. A Lignator is your tool for making your music.

How We Work
Our Lignator guitars are made in a wide variety of configurations, with the aim of creating the specific sound, feel, and look you are looking for. Whichever options you choose, one thing is certain: every guitar receives the same attention to detail and quality.
These are some of the features that set us apart:
Experience
We have been making instruments since 1983, so we can safely call ourselves experienced guitar builders by now. Every instrument is made from start to finish in our workshop. Apart from the hardware, we design and make every part of the guitar ourselves.
Careful Listening
Making a guitar, besides carving and shaping, is also about listening. Not only to the influence of the material on the sound of the guitar, but also to the stories and wishes of you, the player. Tell us what you need, and we will listen.
Knowledge
As guitar makers, we have earned our stripes over the past four centuries, but we have also always improved our skills and techniques and did not shy away from modernization. Not to make more guitars, but to improve what we were already doing.
