The Hollowline is our answer to the wish of many bass players to have a good bass that’s very lightweight. The concept of our famous Treeline basses is inherent here – a concept that proves more weight does not automatically mean more tone. Optimal playing comfort
The Hollowrline DC is designed for optimal playing comfort. The transition between neck and body is smoothly designed, making the higher neck positions extremely comfortable to play. Furthermore, the bass has an asymmetrical neck profile as standard, i.e. thicker under the B-string and thinner under the G string. This ergonomic design makes the neck particularly comfortable to hold.
Full-bodied sound with a transparent top-end
We prefer to build the Hollowline with a Set Neck. This construction delivers the full, compressed sound character of a continuous neck with the typical transparent high end of a bolt-on.
Fully custom-made
Each Hollowline is a unique instrument of which there is actually only one. We are able to build this bass entirely according to your personal preferences with luxurious woods and top quality pickups, electronics and hardware. Naturally, this custom bass is available as 4-, 5- and 6-string, fretted and fretless, and (at no extra cost) left-handed.
Both Double Cutaway and Single Cutaway
The Hollowline model is originally derived from the Powerline bass, so as a Single Cutaway variant. We quickly turned it into a Double Cutaway which allows fantastic access to the higher frets.
